When we launched it was three states and about 75 million people. Then six. Now nine. Same job every morning: pull the official prize numbers, run the math, and show you what's left.
Population math uses U.S. Census Bureau 2024 state estimates, rounded. Nine states ÷ whole country ≈ 46%. We're rounding, not bragging. Okay, a little bragging.
Here's a stat that made us do a double take. The six states we already tracked add up to about 450 active scratch-off games. Massachusetts, Georgia, and New Jersey walked in with… about 450 more. Three states, same size shelf as the other six combined. Georgia alone runs the biggest lineup we've ever tracked.
The scratcher capital. Massachusetts is famous for being the heaviest lottery-playing state in the country per person, and the scratch-off shelf shows it — a deep lineup from $1 all the way up to the big-ticket $50 games. When a state plays this much, knowing which games are picked clean and which still have their top prizes actually matters.
